Bodies of Land (2022)
At the moment our life supporting systems are disrupted and falling apart. There is a clear separation in world views.

Ancient cultures experienced the land they lived on as their bodies. They were in constant dialogue with their needs and that of the land, sharing a strong relationship based upon reciprocity. Feeling the ecological boundaries through their bodies by closely observing the surrounding ecology, this also gave them their livelihood. Their bodies were totally dependent on the land and the land was in many ways shaped to their bodies.
~~~~~ How do we, in our current time, relate to our bodies and to the land? ~~~~~
This research invites you to experiment with feeling the land, in and as your own body.
As emerging science confirms that we are made of the Earth's elements, it’s a possibility to reshape this ancient acknowledgment that many indigenous cultures knew not as a concept but as an embodied sense. As their wisdom tradition taught them.
We acknowledge these ancient wisdom traditions and feel to revive these ideas in order to reshape a gathering that roots the value and necessity of contemplating that we are deeply entangled with the living planet.
